Dexter is one of three USPTA Master Pros in Nor Cal. He has over 35 years of teaching/coaching experience. In addition, he is a USPTA/USTA certified specialist in Player Development having completed the USTA High Performance Coaching Program. He holds both BS and MA degrees in Physical Education and his California Teaching Credentials.

He has been named USPTA Pro of the year, Wilson Pro of the Year and honored as one of TENNIS MAGAZINES “America’s Top Tennis Teachers.

He has served on the USTA Nor Cal Coaching Commission, Diversity, Recreation Tennis Committees and Junior Tennis Council. He has coached the USTA Northern California Pacific Cup, Zonal and Girls 18 Intersectional teams. His junior club teams have won the Gar Glenny Cup State and Northern California titles.

Throughout his teaching career, he has coached some of Northern California’s top junior tournament players with many accepting tennis scholarships to various universities.
